For the beginning of the class, I had a chance to know other countries’ cultures. And as we collaborated as an International Team, I could more directly feel the different characteristics of other foreign members.

There are cultural differences among countries, so as are accounting standards. By comparing differences in cultures and different kind of rolls of accounting among countries, I could understand why there are difficulties in tackling with harmonization of accounting. How do we solve or ease this problem?

Turning to this class, it demonstrated a possible way to tackle with the problem. This class made it possible to give equally chance to each countries to show its idea and to understand each others. Providing a place for discussion like this way can possibly promote people’s understanding of other cultures. Hence, this class shows possible steps toward harmonization.

I found this class very exciting and at the same time, very meaningful. We could have interactive and simultaneous communications between the nations by using the Internet and various soft wares. The assignments we had were focused on difference and similarity of our cultures and accounting systems. I could experience these differences and similarities through chatting with the International members, listening to the presentation, and so on.

Also, I recognized that harmonization of accounting is developing rapidly. Therefore we need to harmonize our national standards as soon as possible, and to make every efforts to meet international standards.

This international accounting class with the Internet gave me a precious opportunity to know a latest PC technology. Also, I was amazed to have such a great class in real time and it surely was wonderful experience for me.

This class was indeed valuable for all of us in which attendants can meet from different countries with different cultural backgrounds in the Internet. Further, how fun was it to chat with them for collaborative work and also for numerous things. On the other hand, I learned many difficulties laying ahead of harmonizing various accounting standards since the world is filled with the diversity.

I found this class wonderful! All participants from different countries who never met before can become friends without direct communication but communication in the net. Advanced technology overwhelmed borders among countries and let us have chances to accomplish this great class.

Breaking sounds and the language difficulties were sometimes serious problems for us, however, this class gave us precious experiences.

This class certainly developed our senses of being international citizens, and thus it can lead a way to harmonize not only our consciousness but also accounting systems as a whole.

Everything was so amazing in this International class! It is a great and important idea to have a class like this especially with the Internet since our life style is now mixing together with all kinds of cultures. It gave us also a good opportunity to look back our own accounting standards.

We were very excited to see the each presentation with funny sounds and ideas, and we felt a kind of strange feelings to see the faces of the members of other countries through the tiny camera attached with PC. It has been one of the biggest and the most exciting event of all my life so far!
